Ophiopogon planiscapus 'Nigrescens' AGM

  • Pot size: 9cm
  • Plant ultimate height: 15cm (6in)
  • Growing condition: Partial - full shade
  • Flowering season: June to July

The black grass, lovely in a pot or as a mass underplant, for wonderful contrast. Pale lilac flowers in July-August and shiny black berries in Autumn and narrow arching black leaves throughout the year. A very good candidate for a Winter container perhaps with snowdrops and the stems of a brightly coloured Cornus. Evergreen (everblack!) and clump forming.
